Hope everyone that attended this year banquet had a good time.It was good to see those that did make it.Big Fish  award went to Gary Overcash 5.43lb from Dorena and Jim Hill Angler of Year. We had some nice raffle prizes and  of course Elmer Resturant  had some good food.We will be sending our schedule of tournaments to ODFW and OSP and will be posting the schedule asap.

BYLAW CHANGE
There was a bylaw change of club affiliation with BASS.We are no longer a Federation member  of BASS.We voted to become a Non-Affiliated Bass fishing club.We are an independent State Registered Bass Fishing Club as a nonprofit organization.
NEW CLUB DUES
The new club dues have changed to $45 per year .From this $20 goes to club fund and $25 goes to club liability insurance fund.Any BASS or FLW/TBF or ABA fees are personal exspenses.
NEW TOURNAMENT POINT SYSTEM
NEW Mid Valley Bass Club Point System

Points start at      25pts

1 Point for Big Fish

1st Place         25pts

2nd Place        24pts

3rd Place         23pt

4th Place         22pts................

This will continue down until "0" fish are caught

Those that caught  "0" will get  one half of last place points that caught fish


example=last place 11pts

(You must catch and weigh in fish for full score points)

FEB 2010

POINT QUALIFIER
The point system to qualifiy for the NW Club Classic has been determined make end of July for cutoff date for point  quailifier. The points will continue til end of the season for the Angler of Year
TOURNAMENT SEASON CONFIRMED
The 2010 torunament season has been confirmed thru the ODFW and OSP
FEB GUEST SPEAKER
Bobby Brown was the guest speaker for Feb club meeting.He talked about being a backseater in tournaments.We want to thatnk him for this.Our March guest speaker we have  lined up Terry Schrader from ODFW

MARCH 2010

 FEATURED GUEST SPEAKER
 The guest speaker Terry Schrader from the eastern oregon division ODFW came and gave a presentation of the eastern Oregon lakes that are good for bass fishing.He also included some tips on where to go over in eastern oregon for some good fishing.The projects that they have been working on and the removal/replacement of bass in Davis Lake

APRIL 2010
Club sweatshirts/tshirts
At the club meeting we discussed going to D&B to see about having some more sweatshirts and t-shirts made ..I will be checking into this asap.If you would like to place an order send an email or you can contact one of the board members
Weigh in bags
We discussed and decided that the club will purchase 3 more weigh in bags.the ones we do have all have a hole in them but are still usable but we want some good ones to replace them.
Guest Speaker
We are trying to find someone that can explain and demostrate how to fizz a bass from being caught in deep water.
Blast Off Procedure
Bruce said although we blasted off safely trying to avoid the other 2 clubs we didnt draw numbers so Bruce said we will be drawing number in the future blast offs.

Weigh in Bags Purchased
The club has purchased 3 new heavy duty weigh in bags thanks to Bob Brown for taking care of this.Jim Hill says we now have to start filling them up.

Fish Camp
Jim Hill and Bobby Brown has put together a fish camp that will be held Jul15-17th. This is being sponsored by Amp,Bobs Market and along with the help of Mid Vallley Bass members.Please contact Jim Hill or Bobby Brown.

We had Roger Luce from Portland as a guest speaker for June meeting.Roger was an ex bass guide at Silver Lake,Washington.He spoke on bass behavior,seasons
